time’s running backwards, our wounds aren't painted in watercolors, they are smudged, tangled in cobwebs with a smell of spoiled fruits. chirping tunes of lost thoughts fill the air. people seem to be frozen in time but as we step on a pile of memories, their paralyzed bodies fall and get back up, over and over. we trip and fail under the weight of the emotional baggage we carry. while bones are meant to mend when broken, our hearts keep dying for years on end. there’s a hissing whisper. drifting from what made us whole, we approach a waterfall built on our mistakes. our ears tingle. this is it. we’ll drown on our hopes and dreams. after all of this, should we start over?
